This is Harry's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcract
and Wizardry, having discovered on the occasion of his 11th
birthday that he is not just a 'normal' boy, orphaned and
subsequently raised by his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon Dursley,
but in fact the son of wizards Lily and James Potter. Harry
is a first year Gryffindor student and to his surprise famed
throughout the wizarding world for events that took place
when he was just a baby. He is also the youngest Seeker ever
on the Gryffindor Quidditch team.

HERMIONE GRANGER
(STUDENT)

Hermione
is first Wizard to come out of the Granger family and is a credit
to her parents, always studying and reading. Her biggest fear
is not the beasts that lurk behind the forbidden rooms and corridors
of the school, but failing an exam! She is also a first year
Gryffindor and is constantly looking out for her less academic
friends Harry and Ron. She has requested that we print the proper
pronounciation of her first name 'Her-My-Own-Nee'. |
RON WEASLEY
(STUDENT)

Ron
follows in the footsteps of brothers Percy the Prefect and twins
Fred and George, in becoming the sixth Weasley to attend Hogwarts.
This is Ron's first year at the school, but unfortunately not
that of his clothes who have been passed down from brother to
brother. Ron is a Gryffindor and proud to say best friend to
Harry Potter. His likes are chess, sweets and the Chudley Cannons
Quidditch team. He also has a soft spot for his rat Scabbers. |
| DRACO MALFOY

Draco
is the youngest member of the esteemed Malfoy family, following
in his father Lucius' footsteps who now holds the prestigious
position of Standing Officer of the Ministry of Magic. Draco
is a first year Slytherin student and he and his faithful sidekicks
Crabbe and Goyle are always to be seen together making their
presence felt wherever they go. He can be seen as the archenemy
of Harry Potter and all those who befriend him. |

DUMBLEDORE (FACULTY AND STAFF) |

year old Albus Dumbledore is the current Headmaster of Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is the school's most respected
figure, both wise and seemingly omniscient and he always has
a watchful eye on Harry and the other school's pupils. He is
one of the few figures that he who shall not be named, genuinely
fears. Dumbledore's passions include literature, alchemy and
thick woollen socks. |
| PROFESSOR
MCGONAGALL |

Professor
McGonagall is Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. She is renowned for being strict but is always
fair. McGonagall is also the head of Gryffindor House and Professor
of Transfiguration at Hogwarts with a ability to turn into a
cat! When in human form she is always to be seen wearing the
McGonagall Green Tartan. Her passions include Quidditch and
Magical History. |

SNAPE (FACULTY AND STAFF) |

Professor
Snape is current Professor of Potions at Hogwarts School of
Wizardry and Witchcraft, although really he harbours a secret
desire to be Professor of the Dark Arts. He is also the current
head of the Slytherin House. Snape is a somewhat enigmatic character
who harbours a dislike for the ever popular Gryffindor first
year Harry Potter. He tries not to let this spoil his day, but
Harry is a constant thorn in his side. Snape is an occasional
Quidditch referee. |
PROFESSOR
QUIRRELL

Professor
Quirrell is the current Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher
at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is also a
known cohort of Professor Snape and the two are often to be
seen in secret talks. However, Quirrell is a distinguished wizard
who has a passion for literature. Reportedly Professor Quirrell
is one of the few wizards to have encountered the notorious
Vampires of the Black Forest and survived. |
HAGRID
(FACULTY AND STAFF)

Hagrid
the half-giant, is Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. He
is a former pupil who left due to 'personal reasons', but who
has returned to maintain the school grounds out of loyalty to
Dumbledore. He has a passion and gentle affection for dragons,
beasts and the sort of magical creatures others might find terrifying!
Despite his rough edges and lumbering appearance, Hagrid is
both unquestionably loyal and honest and is incredibly protective
of Harry. |
| ARGUS
FILCH (FACULTY AND STAFF) |

Argus
Filch is the current Caretaker at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft
and Wizardry. He is a somewhat unhappy character who alongside
his magical feline companion Mrs Norris, spends his time wandering
the corridors of the school looking out for children who should
be elsewhere. Filch is a passionate preservationist who claims
to know the location and history of every Hogwarts artifact. |
VERNON
DURSLEY (FAMILY AND FRIENDS)

Vernon
Dursley is married to Petunia and is uncle to Harry Potter.
He and his wife took Harry into their home when he was just
a baby and his mother (Petunia's sister) and father were killed.
Vernon works hard for Grunnings Drills and is immensely proud
of his son Dudley who is soon to join the prestigious school
Smeltings. He finds Harry a constant disappointment and odd
things seem to occur when he is around. |
DUDLEY
DURSLEY (FAMILY AND FRIENDS)

Dudley
Dursley is Harry Potter's cousin and son to Vernon and Petunia
Dursley. Dudley loves all things material and edible and views
happiness in direct correlation with the amount of presents
he receives. He is soon to continue the Dursley tradition by
attending the prestigious school of Smeltings. Dudley and Harry
don't really get on, but Dudley is kind enough to give Harry
his old, if somewhat big, clothes. |
